Freedom of Creation

Would you imagine yourself making such beautiful and unique designs while riding the bus? Well this is how it goes for Janne Kyttanen, designer at FOC studio. While looking at the lamps he created you have the impression of a huge magnifier being held in front of your eyes. They all look like microscopic structures inspired by the some rules you would have thought only nature knew. But while they seem geometric because of their uniform shape, there’s still something organic about them. That’s probably because they all look like petrified natural elements. If the 1597 model is inspired by the coneflower, 610’s design comes from the Fibonacci sequence also found in nature. But their design is not all about this, it’s also about mathematical precision of details.
